Lancaster Words is pleased to invite you to a reading with the poet, novelist and memoirist Jonathan Taylor in the Storey at Lancaster.


Following this event we will have a showcase of Lancaster's MA students.


Jonathan Taylor is an author, editor, lecturer and critic. His books include the novels Melissa (Salt, 2015) and Entertaining Strangers (Salt, 2013), and the memoir Take Me Home (Granta, 2007). His second poetry collection, Cassandra Complex (Shoestring, 2018), is forthcoming in late June. He is currently co-editing a book of ‘drinking Stories’ with Karen Stevens, which will be published by Valley Press in November 2018. He directs the MA in Creative Writing at the University of Leicester. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, he now lives in Leicestershire with his wife, the poet Maria Taylor, and their twin daughters, Miranda and Rosalind. His website is www.jonathanptaylor.co.uk.
