Hi, guys, for those who like last-minute adventures the Lancaster Centre for Russian Studies is organising a culture tour to Kiev, Ukraine, Sep. 16-20 2019. Last chance to join, tickets are still very cheap and we have few places left.

I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Masha Golubeva. I run the Lancaster Centre for Russian Studies. I also teach courses on Russian culture & art in English throughout the year. This time, I have decided to run a tour to Kiev, as it is exceptionally interesting and historical place. We already have a small group of  5 people, which makes it really flexible and we can adjust the programme to everyone's needs/requirements.

My grandparents are from Kiev and I feel culturally connected and fond of this city, which really inspires me to take people into this amazing place. As to the people who have already joined, some of them have been my students for a while, some of them are new. But I can guarantee that they are simply an amazing company and you would enjoy spending time with them.

As I have connections in the Kiev Lavra (10-century-old monastery with the onion domes you liked), I have decided to use their amazing hotel for us to stay. I think this would definitely add some historical flavour to our trip. Since the hotel is right in the middle of the city, we will be very conveniently positioned to access all the touristic attractions. So, we plan to have daily culture activities as well as some entertainment (opera, theatre, concert, restaurants, pubs) and also have some free time to explore the place in our own pace, so this would suit everyone in the group.

Please, get in touch for more details and get a last-minute discount for the tour.
