A showcase of work by printmakers from across the Lancaster district is currently on exhibition in The Dukes gallery.

Dozens of prints are on display that have been created at Iron Press Printmaking (IPP), the fine art printmaking facility which opened at The Storey two years ago.

IPP has open access to anyone interested in print and printmaking techniques including etching, drypoint, collagraph, carborundum, mono-printing, linocutting, woodcutting and wood engraving. IPP actively encourages people new to printmaking as well as experienced artists to go along to their centre in The Storey and develop their ideas.  They hope the current exhibition will be inspirational.

The exhibition can be viewed until December 2 during normal Dukes opening hours.

If you are making a special trip to see it, call the Box Office as sometimes the gallery is used for other activities.
