Halton Fun Day — a community event on the field to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Centre.

Sat 1st Sept — 11am – 6pm. FREE ENTRY

We're going to have a bar, disco, food on the field — pizza, hot dogs, ice cream and more — all sorts of stalls and craft tables, bouncy castle, some funfair rides, an inflatable football game, coconut shy, giant snakes & ladders, henna painting, children's magic and entertainment, face painting, demonstrations including Samba Espirito drummers and dancing and singing groups, and a Fun Dog Show, and the coffee shop will be open in the Main Hall.

There will also be a skatepark competition from 1pm to 6pm, £5 to enter, register 12 noon. Cash prizes! Under-12s must be accompanied by an adult. Limited public access while the competition is on.

Fun Dog Show — from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Do you have a dog? Is it cute, friendly, unusual, an elegant breed or a happy-go-lucky mutt? Don't miss the Fun Dog Show. It's to support Animal Care and is also an added dimension to Fun Day.
Perhaps your dog would fit into one of these categories, best puppy, golden oldie, dog most like its owner, waggiest tail and of course best in show?

There are ten categories in all so why not have a go, and some fun with your dog. Registration is from 11am.
Water for thirsty dogs will be available.

Buy a lucky programme for Halton Fun Day and be in with a chance of winning a cash prize! On sale soon — watch out for news of programmes!

You can bring rugs to sit on or folding chairs on the day, and of course the children's play areas and the Multi Use Games Area will be open.

Volunteers are welcome to help with input and ideas as well helping on the day by putting up marquees and gazebos, running stalls and so on.
