The classes are taught keeping your personal development in mind. You can get individual and targeted advice for your personal development from start to end during the session. Hence, subject matters and techniques are tailored to your level and individual experience.

Session1:

Four Gentlemen: Orchid / Chrysanthemum / Bamboo / Plum Blossoms — For those who have already taken the introductory ink painting class covering the Four Gentlemen before, you will learn how to combine the four plants in a same picture frame in different compositions. For new beginners, you will learn basic brush techniques for the Four Gentlemen.

Session 2:

Extended Subject: Rose / Fish / Birds — You will learn how to paint different kinds of roses, fish and birds. You can bring your own photos and images for reference.

Session 3:

Extended Subject: Animals / Landscape painting — bring your own landscape or animal photos (e.g. your own pets) to paint from. You will learn basic textual stock to be used in traditional landscape and animal ink paintings.
