Travelling with the Romans: Roman Roads in North Lancashire and South Cumbria — lecture by David Ratledge (Roman Roads Research Association)

The Society runs a talks programme on topics of local archaeological and historical interest. The talks are held in St Paul’s Parish Hall, Scotforth Road, LA1 4TS at 7.30pm on the last Thursday of the month between September and April. The talks are given by experts and range widely over our history and archaeology. They are fully illustrated and there are Q&A sessions with the speakers. The talks are free to members and £3 for visitors.
