Venue:
Maple Farm, Preston New Road, Little Plumpton PR4 3PE
Organisers:
Reclaim the Power

Don your glitter and join youth movements, families, activists and campaigners to come and resist Cuadrilla’s attempts to frack in Lancashire and celebrate the last Friday of the month of rolling (or stationary :) resistance with a travelling fair!

This July, Reclaim the Power have been at Preston New Road to support the amazing local resistance to fracking. As part of a jam-packed month of action, every Friday they've been hosting a family-friendly mass demo at the roadside of the site to show solidarity with the local communities and a broad and national opposition to fracking.

On Friday 28th, there’ll be performers, speakers, face-painting and workshops to enjoy, and you are invited to wear your best circus or carnival-themed outfits, the brighter and more eye-catching the better!

*** If 100 people come to the site, Cuadrilla have to stop work ***

ON THE DAY

We will walk down from Maple Farm at 8am, although if you arrive later you can join us at the gate at any point.
There will be an evening meal at Maple Farm at 7pm.

HOW LONG SHALL I STAY?

You can turn up at any point on Friday and be able to get involved. We can provide food and camping spaces.

We'd love for you to stay for as long as you can over the month! The Mass Demos are a great family friendly introduction, and then you're welcome to stay for workshops, talks, events and trainings over the weekend to prepare you for ** ACTIONS ON MONDAY**.

Full programme for the weekend and whole month can be found at:
https://reclaimthepower.org.uk/fracking/july-timetable/

Camping places are available at the ‘Camp of New Hope’ Community Camp next to the site. There is also accessible accommodation available for those who require it.

Grab a friend and join us at the roadside!
