Screening: Remembering & Restoring the River Roeburn

Venue:
Wray Institute

There will be a free film screening on Friday night of the 30 minute film that Bryony and  Mark made at Middlewood this Summer. '

REMEMBERING AND RESTORING THE RIVER ROEBURN' explores the history and experience of flooding in the Roeburn Valley and the wider Lune catchment.

It looks at the Natural Flood Management techniques that are 'slowing the flow' in the area and across the UK.  There will be a discussion about this theme and there will also be poetry, music and tea and mince pies. Please come along and get in touch if you want a lift to Wray or can offer one. Thanks.

7.15pm. Friday 15th. Wray Institute.

If you can't make it to the film, you can find out more and details of future screenings at riverroeburn.uk
