A Short Story: Bryn Trescatheric Art Exhibition

A Short Story by Bryn Trescatheric
A Short Story by Bryn Trescatheric
Thomas Storey Gallery. The Storey, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster, LA1 1TH

Bryn Trescatheric’s first solo show.

Before retirement he worked at Barrow’s Dock Museum and he has written 16 local history books as well as pamphlets and photo books.

His interest in art centres on Abstract Expressionism, especially the likes of Rothko, Kline and Still. He also appreciates earlier works by Turner, Monet and Cezanne.

The main features of Bryn’s work are colour, shape and texture. He often tries to achieve a disturbed, loose arrangement using brush, knife and occasionally finger-painting.
