Spring Flower Show

Venue:
Kirkbie Kendal School
Organisers:
Alpine Garden Society

A Show organised by the Alpine Garden Society in conjunction with the Scottish Rock Garden Club

The Lancaster Group of the Alpine Garden Society is again bringing its Spring Flower Show and Plant Fair to Kendal on 16th March.

The location is Kirkbie Kendal School, Lound Road, Kendal. LA9 7EQ.

The show opens at 10 am, when visitors can purchase plants from the nine specialist nurseries who will be attending. Rare and unusual plants will be on offer, and there will also be a stall offering plants grown by members of the local group. Because these plants are grown in this area, they are all suited to local conditions, and the prices are usually very reasonable.

The Plant Show itself with 140 spectacular classes displaying alpine and woodland plants and Spring bulbs will open as soon as the judges have finished their deliberations, at around 11 am.

Admission to the Show is £3 for non-members of the AGS, with proceeds in aid of the Alpine Garden Society.

On-site parking is available at no charge. Hot and cold snacks and drinks are on sale throughout, with proceeds in aid of the school’s PTA.
