Stargazing in Williamson Park, Lancaster

Lancaster and Morecambe Astronomical Society (LaMAS) are hosting public stargazing events at Williamson Park at the end of March to tie in with the BBC's Stargazing Live 2017 series.

This will be the third year the Park has hosted this event in conjunction with the local astronomy society, and this year it has been expanded to run for two nights, Friday 24th March and Friday 31st March, starting at 7:30 pm, meeting at the Memorial.

There will be telescopes to look through at the wonders of the night sky, talks and presentations and astronomers on hand to answer all those cosmic questions!

The Park cafe will also be open for hot drinks.

The events are free and are suitable for all ages. Please wrap up warmly!
If the weather is cloudy we will have presentations and talks in the Cafe.
