Stories at the Storey

Joy, it’s a feeling, a state of mind, a place, and a name. It can be elusive and fleeting, meaningful and everlasting, painfully sweet. This month, we’re inviting you to join us for an evening of true stories loosely exploring the definition of, the seeking and finding, the having and holding of joy (loosely interpreted).

Join us as 5–7 storytellers share true stories about the places they’ve seen, people they’ve met, and places they ended up as they loosely explore the theme of road trips.

Have a true story to share? Email (storiesatthestorey@gmail.com), message, or tweet us to sign up for your 3–5-minute (2–4 pages A4) open-mic slot.

Not sure you're ready to read your true story? That’s fine too. Come by and listen. If you would like to share a story but want us to offer some feedback, get in touch. We can help you get your story ready.
Sponsored by Graduate College, Stories at the Storey is a ‘pay what you decide’ event. Readers are not asked to or expected to pay. Order free tickets via Eventbrite.
