A Taste Trail of Wines from Australia and New Zealand

Venue:
Gregson Community and Arts Centre LA1 3PY
Organisers:
Glug Club

Join the Glug Club at the Gregson on Sunday 4th of February for a Taste Trail of Wines from Australia and New Zealand. We will taste 7 wines (including two sparkling wines) all with a matching nibble of food. Meats, cheeses and the like. We have some fabulous unique wines for you to try, all of which you will not be able to buy from your regular supermarkets.

Australia is consistently one of the top ten wine producing countries in the world and is one of the few countries that produces every one of of the major wine styles (because it is such a large country that almost every climate and soil type can be found). New Zealand's finely-tuned wine industry might only be 23% the size of its neighbour (38,000 hectares versus 162,000 hectares in 2012) but what it lacks in girth, it certainly makes up for in vinous quality.

Tickets are £16 which is excellent value for a fun, entertaining and slightly educational evening.
