DESCRIPTION:Lancaster – the city with a story… \nLancaster Day\, a celebration of our fantastic city\, a city of heritage and history takes place this weekend\, over Friday and Saturday. \nMarking the signing of the original charter on 12th June 1193\, the festivities will be taking place on its anniversary. There will be opportunities to visit many of the city’s finest heritage attractions\, listen to talks from local history experts\, participate in guided walks and join in with some vintage entertainment. \nIt’s an opportunity to celebrate the rich heritage\, history\, and community spirit of our incredible city with a fantastic day packed with guided walks\, talks and historic tours. The event also includes retro cars display from sponsors Pye Motors\, Ale Trail adventures\, street entertainment\, a summer seasonal market – and plenty of Lancaster pride! \nFrom discovering hidden stories of the city to enjoying live entertainment and local attractions\, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. \nSee the full schedule below for event times and locations. \nBring your friends\, family\, and visitors and be part of this special celebration of Lancaster’s past\, present\, and future \n.
