The Morecambe Winter Gardens

LuneLab Makerspace

Lancaster Archaeological & Historical Society

The LAHS is over 40 years old. During the winter the society runs a lecture programme at St. Paul's Hala Hall in Scotforth, Lancaster. Field trips to sites of historical and archaeological interest are made during the summer. The Society's official journal Contrebis is published annually.

Wolfwood Animal Sanctuary

Lancaster & District Birdwatching Society

Morecambe Public Library has 27 PCs connected to the People's Network and public wifi. It has an extensive stock of fiction, non-fiction, reference, video and audio material. The Library offers a regular programme of activities for all ages and has full disabled access.

The Grand Theatre, Lancaster

The Grand offers an extensive range of theatre, film and live entertainment. Tours of the exuberant Edwardian interior may include a glimpse of actress Mrs Sarah Siddons, the Ghost-in-Residence.

Lancaster Friends Meeting House

Built in 1708 to serve the needs of the local Quaker Community, the Friends' Meeting House offers several well-maintained meeting rooms, large & small, and a large Assembly Hall for hire, with kitchen, dining and brewing-up facilities. It also has a garden and car & bike park.  

North Lancashire Green Party

Heysham Heritage Centre
