Halton Social Club

We are a not-for-profit community venue. Free to hire for charity and community events and all family occasions. Licensed bar and catering facilities. Two minutes from Bay Gateway & M6, ten minutes from the centre of Lancaster & Morecambe.  

The Continuing Learning Group

We are an educational group based at Lancaster University aimed primarily at those middle aged and beyond, but open to everyone. We meet on Wednesdays in term-time for Lunchtime Lectures from experts on a whole range of topics, followed by a discussion session.  

Lancaster & Morecambe University of the 3rd Age (L&M U3A)

Group meetings at Lancaster Friends Meeting House. Monthly Meetings at The Dukes Playhouse. Tel.: 01524 771511. If you are retired or semi-retired, keen to learn new things and live within a reasonable distance of Lancaster, then Lancaster and Morecambe U3A has a lot to offer you. 

The Friendship Centre

The Friendship Centre is a social centre for people aged 55 and over in Lancaster district. We are open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30 to noon and provide a wide and changing range of activities and classes, with the opportunity to meet people and benefit from peer support and company
