Lancaster Friends' Meeting House was built in 1708 to serve the needs of the local Quaker Community, which meets for worship on Sundays & Wednesdays. 

The Friends' Meeting House also offers for hire several rooms large and medium, also a large Assembly Hall, at affordable rates. It is is a popular local venue used by a wide variety of community groups and individuals for regular or one-off meetings and gatherings.

It is hospitable to those of other faiths or none.

The facilities are clean, airy and pleasant, and include: 

  • Large kitchen, dining and serving hatch facilities downstairs.
  • Group brewing and washing up facilities upstairs.  
  • Car & bike park at rear.
  • Pleasant garden & lawns at front.
  • Disabled facilities on ground floor.
