Welcome to Williamson Park in Lancaster — 54 acres of beautiful parkland with enchanting woodland walks and play areas and breathtaking views to the Fylde Coast, Morecambe Bay and the Lake District.

The park features the imposing Ashton Memorial, Edwardian Butterfly House, and the Pavilion Cafe with free wi-fi access for customers and an outside patio overlooking the park with a great view . Entry to the park grounds is free. Well behaved dogs are very welcome, but please keep them under control at all times and on a lead.

The park features a cafe and shop, Butterfly House  (formerly a tropical palm house), and a small zoo of mini beasts, creepy-crawlies and birds.

The Ashton Memorial, a landmark Victorian folly based on the Taj Mahal, is host to many events and the park regularly welcomes concerts, plays, courses, vintage vehicle rallies, festivals, children’s activities, weddings,  children’s birthday parties and private functions.

You can find out a bit more about the park, its history and attractions here.
