St John’s Hospice will once again be collecting and recycling
Christmas trees on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th January 2013, for a minimum
donation of £5 per tree.
Trees will be collected from the following postcode areas: LA1, LA2, LA3, LA4, LA5.

If you do not wish to use this service, the City Council advises that your Christmas tree can be cut
down to size and put into the green garden waste wheelie bin or can be
taken to the household waste recycling centre at Salt Ayre or Keer
Bridge (Carnforth) where it will be composted.
