Cyclist left with serious injuries following Morecambe collision

Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was knocked from his bike while riding through Morecambe.

The 37-year-old cyclist was riding along Regent Road Bridge in the Westgate area of Morecambe, at 7.35am this morning (Wednesday 12th May) when he was knocked from his bike by a small silver Boxer type van.

The van had two people sitting in its cab and the driver had a shaved head.

The cyclist was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary with serious hip injuries.
