Traffic was backed up in Skerton this morning as roadworks began on Owen Road from its junction with Morecambe Road to its junction with Lune Street. The County Council works should be completed by 30th October but delays are expected to be severe.
Businesses close to Skerton Bridge such as Lancaster Model Shop and Hyslops Office Supplies are trading as normal and you can still park close to both.
