Lancaster's Neuro Drop-In Centre were delighted to receive a generous donation of £2968.00 from the Co-op! Members of the Co-op chose the charity (from a choice of 3) to support and a percentage of their indoor spend is donated to the charity.

Sharon Jackson of Neuro Dropin told Virtual Lancaster "We currently have use of the building that was formerly the Officers Mess at Lancaster Farms and we understand that there is a strong possibility that this building is shortly going to be reassigned to train prison officers. The space Neuro DropIn has called home has been amazing for us since we  moved in back in June 2013 but we have outgrown it and we are on the lookout for a new more permanent home. We will have to get busy sourcing a space and raising some money!

"We had a lovely time with Regent Road Co-op manager Lily .The Co-op have offered ongoing support and we are delighted."

The Neuro-Dropin centre provides a unique place in Lancaster for anyone affected by a neurological condition, such as multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke, epilepsy, dementia, cerebral palsy, Huntington's disease, ME, MG, MSA and acquired brain injury.

The centre provides many activities and social events, and has a friendly cafe with dietary aware options and wifi for visitors. You can find out more about Neuro-Dropin at its website at https://neurodropin.org.uk and its facebook page
