John Freeman
Police in Lancaster have released CCTV images following a theft from a Lancaster DIY store last week.

On Thursday 7th October at around 12,30pm, two men entered the B & Q store on Aldcliffe Road in Lancaster and filled up a trolley worth of goods. They then went to the garden centre area of the store, unlocked the security gates and left the making no attempt to pay for the items.

Officers have now released CCTV images and are asking the public to help identify the offenders.

PC Simon Harrison said, “This theft is of high value with the offenders acting as customers in the shop. They must have known the layout of the shop in order of carry out this theft however the store CCTV captured their actions and escape.

"If anyone recognises the people in the images then I would ask them to come forward and contact us.”

Items stolen included three showers, a garden blower, a house alarm and an extension lead. The value was around £1,200.
