Wanted
People who like children and could lead Woodcraft Folk sessions, Mondays 6–7.30pm, in and around central Lancaster. Our ‘Elfins’ are currently 5–9-year-olds.
You may work or have worked with children [including just your own], or in the social or caring professions, or in the environmental field, or in any responsible position, and:
- you like children and care about our co-operative social & environmental ethos [see https://woodcraft.org.uk/about]
- you’d enjoy doing what we do [see https://woodcraft.org.uk/what-we-do]
- you believe in our principles [see https://woodcraft.org.uk/resources/11-our-aims-principles]
- you’d gain a lot from the experience
We have good leaders and helpers, but we’d like more because:
- the children thrive with a wider variety of session-leaders and
- each new person brings their own unique, special gifts to the group, and
- it would be good to make the leaders’ rota easier
If you’d like to have a chat about this, please contact Damian, and he will bring Katy or Bonnie along to meet you. 07811 089 878, d.j.randle@gmail.com, 36 Rosebery Ave., LA1 4DJ.
