After a lot of work behind the scenes by local volunteers and council representatives, we're happy to report that Lancaster's Judges' Lodgings museum is going to reopen when the season begins again this March.

When the season begins in March the new museum opening hours will be 11.00am until 4.00pm and it will be now be open three days a week on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This is a shorter week than it was prior to the 2016 closure, the result of Countyy Council funding cuts, but never the less, it is wonderful news that the museum has been saved from complete closure and now members of the public and future generations can visit this building and stunning collection of Gillow furniture.
