Could you adopt Jingles? Find out

more from Cats Protection

The local branch of Cats Protection has announced its Summer Fair in aid of its work rescuing and re-homing felines great and small.

Taking place at 7, Cyprus Road, Heysham on Sunday 19th June, organisers say this year’s event will build on the success of last and promises to be even bigger and better this year!

Open from 11 am to 3.00 pm, there will be stalls selling gifts, bric-a-brac, home made produce, handicrafts, books and DVDs.  Throughout the day there will be games for the children, tombola, and a raffle with great prizes.

You’ll also be able to see some of our gorgeous cats and kittens that are available for homing. There are plenty of them, too – cats like Jingles (above), a sweet, gentle girl who was abandoned when her owners moved away. A neighbour took her in and looked after her, but because of family circumstances this is no longer possible and Jingles needs a new home.

Cloud and Jet were a bit wild and scared when

Cats Protection took them in, but time with the

fosterer and getting used to new people has helped

them to settle and they will be lovely pets.

She’s not happy in the company of very young children, and is scared of dogs and would probably do better as an only cat where she can settle in at her own pace. She’ll reward you with love and affection.
