The teenager was punched by another male in an unprovoked attack as he was waiting for a bus on Westminster Road at 3.10pm on Thursday 28th March.

Police appeal for witnesses after Lancaster canalside robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had his laptop stolen last weekend -- and was then thrown into the canal. The incident happened on Saturday 12th February between 10.00 and 10.25pm. The victim, who is a local man, was approached by two men as he approached the canal tow path from Ridge Street Bridge.

Police are again are appealing for information after a young woman was attacked and robbed by two men at knifepoint as she walked home in Lancaster last month. An EvoFit of one of the attackers has been published and police have now released pictures of the items stolen.

A Morecambe man has been jailed for four years and 10 months for a vicious attack on a police officer earlier this year. 19-year-old Jamie Joss, of Needham Avenue, Morecambe, appeared before Preston Crown Court this week after he attacked a police officer following a street brawl in the town.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 13-year-old girl was assaulted by four young girls as she walked through Ryelands Park at the weekend. The assault took place around 3.30pm on Sunday 2nd June, when the victim was walking through Ryelands Park near Owen Road. Police appeal following serious assault in Morecambe

Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Morecambe.    The incident happened at around 8:30pm on Monday 5th December at an address on Waterside Place.    Two men have approached the house and gained entry to the property and have assaulted the 40 year old man in front of his own family, including his two young children.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Lancaster last month. The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday 10th March at around 1.10am, outside the Lost night club on North Road. The offender approached a 19-year-old local girl who was texting on her mobile phone.

Four years for “frenzied” attacker

A Lancaster man who subjected a friend of his ex-girlfriend to a “frenzied” attack was today jailed for four years. 22-year-old Adam Kirkham of Windholme, Lancaster was given sentence today at Preston Crown Court after previously pleading guilty to grievous bodily harm.

CCTV released after man assaulted in Lancaster

Lancaster detectives have released CCTV images of two men that they want to speak to in connection with an assault in the city centre last month. At shortly after midnight on Saturday 24th May 2014, the victim, a 30-year-old man from Morecambe, was sat on a bench sharing food with another man when they were approached by two men.

Lancaster man jailed after attack on neighbour

A Lancaster man who attacked his neighbour - breaking his jaw in two places - has been jailed for 18 months. David Spencer, 46, of Howgill Avenue, Lancaster, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday 13 March after pleading guilty to section 20 wounding. He also pleaded guilty to intimidating a witness. Spencer admitted attacking the man outside his home around 4pm on 21 April 2011.

Police hunt for Lancaster barber shop attackers

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted at a barbers shop in Lancaster earlier this month - and have released CCTV of a man they would like to talk to in connection with the attack. At around 4.10pm on Saturday 11 May, three men pulled up in a car outside Off Your Head on St Leonards Gate.

Duke of Lancaster pub assault: CCTV released

Police are appealing for information and have issued a CCTV image after a man was head-butted whilst inside the Duke of Lancaster pub last month. The 52-year-old victim was inside the pub on Church Street at around 12.30am on 15th July when he approached the bar to get a drink. At this point, a brief altercation has taken place after and he has been head-butted by another man.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in broad daylight in Lancaster. At 2pm on Tuesday 21st May, a 69-year-old man was walking along Queen Street when he was he was confronted by another man who was aggressive towards him, before punching him in the middle of his back.

Morecambe assault suspect charged

Police have charged a man in connection with a serious assault in Morecambe at the weekend. Just before 5.00pm on Saturday afternoon (6th November) police were called to West End Road to reports of a serious assault. On arrival, they found a 43-year-old man with stab wounds.

Local police are appealing for information after a young woman was pulled into a car outside a Lancaster nightclub. The 20-year-old woman, who was wearing a black top and white shorts, left Elements nightclub at around 3.30am on Monday 30th August when a small white car pulled up alongside her.

Police are appealing for information after a 31-year-old man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Lancaster. The local man was at the entrance to the underpass which runs between Sainsbury’s and the skate park off Parliament Street at around 10.00pm on Monday 3rd October, when he was approached from behind and hit over the head with a bottle.

Witness appeal after man hit by car on Bulk Road

Police are appealing for information after a man was hit by a car at around 10.00pm on Wednesday 24th July on Bulk Road. The 21-year-old man was with his mother when the car came screeching down the road and performed a U-turn and stopped. A short conversation took place before the vehicle drove knocking the man over.
