The 31-year-old victim, who is from Lancaster, was walking alone through Scotch Quarry around 1.30am when he was approached by two men who asked him for a light.

Police appeal after woman is assault in Lancaster

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Lancaster last month. The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday 10th March at around 1.10am, outside the Lost night club on North Road. The offender approached a 19-year-old local girl who was texting on her mobile phone.

Police are appealing for information and have issued a CCTV image after a man was head-butted whilst inside the Duke of Lancaster pub last month. The 52-year-old victim was inside the pub on Church Street at around 12.30am on 15th July when he approached the bar to get a drink. At this point, a brief altercation has taken place after and he has been head-butted by another man.

At around 3.15am on Friday 1st February, a 20 year old student was stood with friends on Horse Shoe Corner in the city centre when a man from another group punched him in the face causing him to sustain a fractured jaw.

Police are appealing for information after a man was sexually assaulted on the Lancaster Canal. The 21-year-old male was on the canal tow path, between Aldcliffe and Galgate, between 10.00pm - 11.00pm on Tuesday night (20th July) when he was attacked.

Lancaster Farms prisoners given extra sentences for attack on officer

Two men who held a prison officer at knife point at Lancaster Farms back in February, while trying to steal her cell keys, have been given additional jail sentences. 19-year-olds Josh Corey and Jake Burns attacked the female officer at Lancaster Farms young offenders institute on 2nd February.

Police appeal following incident at Shrimp roundabout

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Morecambe. The incident happened on Thursday 12th May at the Shrimp roundabout at around 4.50pm. A disagreement broke out between two drivers and a 23-year-old man was struck and suffered injuries to his lip and nose.

Penny Street Assault: CCTV Released after man assaulted outside Lancaster pub

Lancaster police have released CCTV images of a man they are trying to trace in connection with an assault outside a pub in Lancaster. Officers were called at around 7.30pm on Thursday 17th March to reports of a fight outside the Penny Bank pub on Penny Street. A 36 year old man was found unconscious on the floor, who had sustained a deep cut to his head.

Girl, 14, assaulted in Morecambe

Police are appealing for information after a 14 year old girl was assaulted and had money stolen in Morecambe. Around 9.45pm on Monday 2nd December the teenager was walking along Queen Street when she passed a group of teenagers. As she reached the Premier Shop she was pushed to the floor from behind and was then scratched and kicked before having money and her bus pass stolen.

Police in Morecambe are appealing for information after a man was assaulted at the King's Arms Pub on Marine Road. The incident happened between 2.00 and 2.30am on 19th November. The victim, an 18 year old local man was attacked by another man and punched to the face and kicked. He received cuts and bruises and a fractured cheekbone.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had his laptop stolen last weekend -- and was then thrown into the canal. The incident happened on Saturday 12th February between 10.00 and 10.25pm. George Austin was ejected from Ma Murphy’s pub in Morecambe on Christmas Day 2009 after assaulting an elderly customer. Once outside, he assaulted a second man and bit off a section of his ear.

Appeal after ‘silly string’ attack ends in assault on boy in Morecambe

Police are appealing for information after an 11-year-old boy was sprayed with ‘silly string’ and assaulted in Morecambe on Saturday (20th October). The bizarre incident, picked up by at least one national newspaper, took place between 3 and 4.00pm outside Pound Fever on Euston Road when the boy, who was with a friend, were walking through Morecambe town centre carrying an owl.

13-yearold boy assaulted on Lancaster bridge

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was attacked by a man in Lancaster. Sometime between 1.30pm and 1.40pm on Sunday (16th October 2016), the victim, a 13-year-old boy, was cycling on Lune Street towards the Millennium Bridge. As he continued across the bridge he fell from his bike and shouted an expletive.

Appeal after Carlton Street assault in Morecambe

An investigation is underway after a 21-year-old man was subjected to an unprovoked attack as he walked home in Morecambe on Saturday 24th September. The incident happened around 1am along Carlton Street when the victim was approached by a man who angrily accused him of breaking his window.
