CCTV appeal after man is assaulted in Morecambe shop

7/6/13: Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they need to speak with after a shopkeeper was assaulted in Morecambe. The incident took place around 7.00pm on Tuesday 21st May at Body 'n Soul on Regent Road in Morecambe when the shopkeeper was involved in an altercation with a man who has hit him in the face. Fortunately the victim, who is 34, was uninjured.

7/6/13: Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in broad daylight in Lancaster. At 2pm on Tuesday 21st May, a 69-year-old man was walking along Queen Street when he was he was confronted by another man who was aggressive towards him, before punching him in the middle of his back.

Appeal after teenage girl is assaulted in Lancaster Park

4/6/13: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 13-year-old girl was assaulted by four young girls as she walked through Ryelands Park at the weekend. The assault took place around 3.30pm on Sunday 2nd June, when the victim was walking through Ryelands Park near Owen Road. She was approached by four young girls - believed to be aged around 10 years old - who asked her for a light.

Police launch appeal after assault near Bull Hotel, Morecambe

25/5/13: Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Morecambe last month. The incident took place on Sunday 21st April at around 10.30pm outside the Bull Hotel on Lines Street. A disturbance took place outside the pub and the victim, a 31-year-old man from the local area, received a punch to the face causing a fractured jaw that required hospital treatment.

22/5/13: Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted at a barbers shop in Lancaster earlier this month - and have released CCTV of a man they would like to talk to in connection with the attack. At around 4.10pm on Saturday 11 May, three men pulled up in a car outside Off Your Head on St Leonards Gate.

Four years for Morecambe man who shot neighbour in the head

3/5/13: 60-year-old Morecambe David Bradburn has been jailed for four years after he shot his neighbour in the head with an air pistol. Bradburn, of Lancaster Road, pointed the gun at the man in a communal area where they both lived on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th March. Bradburn claimed the man looked at him wrongly, asked if he knew what the gun was before he shot him in the head six times.

Teen assaulted at Morecambe bus stop

18/4/13: (Updated, 22/4/13: Police incorrectly advised on date of assault, corrected): Detectives are appealing for information after a 14 year old boy was assaulted at a bus stop in Morecambe. The teenager was punched by another male in an unprovoked attack as he was waiting for a bus on Westminster Road at 3.10pm on Thursday 28th March.

16/4/13: Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a broken nose when he was assaulted in Lancaster. Between 12.15am and 1.30am on Sunday 14th April, a 29 year old man was punched in an unprovoked attack on Church Street at the junction of the Calkeld Lane alleyway, which runs alongside Bella Italia.

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday 10th March at around 1.10am, outside the Lost night club on North Road. The victim was waiting for the last bus at a stop on Euston Road at 12.45am on Saturday 2 February when he was approached from behind by a man who punched him in the head and ran off. He wasn’t seriously injured.

Couple threatened with knife in own Morecambe home

29/1/13: Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery at a house in Morecambe. Around 7.45pm on Monday 29th January, a man called at an address on Scafell Avenue and asked the owners if they wanted to buy a gold ring. When they refused, he made his way into the house and threatened the couple with a knife, demanding £30 for the ring.

29/1/13: Police are appealing for information after three people were assaulted in Lancaster as they walked home from a house party. Around 1.30am on Sunday 13th January 2013, a group of 12 people, aged between 16 and 20 years old, were walking home along Bowerham Road, when they came across a group of five or six men on the opposite side of the road.

Lancaster man dies after assault

15/11/12: Following on from the assault outside the Joiners Arms in Queen Street, Morecambe on the 5th November, sadly, the victim who was left in a critical condition, passed away overnight last night (14th – 15th November). He can be named as Paul Ormerod who was 55 and from Lancaster.
