Police appeal after Morecambe assault leave man with broken jaw

21/10/11: Police are appealing for information after man was assaulted as he walked home through Morecambe, leaving him with serious head injuries and a fractured jaw. The 30-year-old man was walking along Euston Grove at some time between 9.45 and 10.15pm on Tuesday 18the October when he was approached and punched and kicked to the floor, where the unknown assailant continued to attack him.

The incident happened around 1.00am along Carleton Street when the victim was approached by a man who angrily accused him of breaking his window.

6/10/11: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted during a night out in Lancaster city centre.   The incident happened during the early hours of Monday 4th October 2011 when the 22-year-old victim was walking from Revolution down Penny Street and following a verbal altercation was punched in the head.

5/10/11: Police are appealing for information after a 31-year-old man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Lancaster. The local man was at the entrance to the underpass which runs between Sainsbury’s and the skate park off Parliament Street at around 10.00pm on Monday 3rd October, when he was approached from behind and hit over the head with a bottle.

4/10/11: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man had his jaw broken during an assault in Morecambe on Friday 30th September. The offence took place around 6.00pm near to the Clock Tower on Marine Road Central when a local 48-year-old victim, who was sitting near a group of youths, became involved in a verbal altercation. The man was punched in the face and suffered a broken jaw.

Pregnant woman assaulted in Morecambe, ring stolen

3/10/11: Police are appealing for information after a pregnant woman was assaulted and had a much-loved ring stolen in Morecambe at the weekend. Around 8.30pm on Friday 30th September, a 20-year-old woman, who is from the town, was walking along an alleyway between Brunswick Road and Byron Road when she was approached by two men.

28/6/11: Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Lancaster. Around 3.00am on Sunday 12th June, a 27-year-old man was waiting at a bus stop on South Road when he was approached by another man. Without warning, the man hit the victim over the head with his arm which was in a plaster cast before getting on the same bus as the victim.

Heysham man sentenced to almost five years in jail for stabbing

27/6/11: A 40-year-old man from Heysham has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison after pleading guilty to wounding at Preston Crown Court. Sean Hann of Brunswick Road, Heysham was charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon following a serious assault in Morecambe last November and he pleaded guilty to the offences on the first day of his trial on the 23rd May.

10/6/11: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 15-year-old schoolgirl was sexually assaulted in an alleyway in Skerton, Lancaster on Monday night (6th June 2011). The offence took place at 8.50pm when the girl was walking home alone.

2/6/11: Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault McDonalds in Lancaster. The incident happened inside the McDonald’s store on Cheapside on Tuesday 17th May 2011 at around 5.20pm. The victim, a schoolboy, had a milkshake carton thrown at him before being grabbed around the throat and attempted to push him to the ground.

21/5/11: Police have issued CCTV images of two men they are keen to trace after a bar man was threatened after he refused to serve two drunk men in a town centre bar. The offence took place at the Mint bar on Church Street just before 1.00am on Thursday 28 April. The bar man refused to serve two men alcohol as he believed them to be intoxicated.

20/5/11: Lancaster Police are appealing for information after a man was verbally assaulted and had a drink poured over him in a bar in Lancaster at the weekend. At some time between 2am and 3.00am on the 9th May, the man, who was out drinking with his partner in the Revolution bar on Penny Street, was approached by a man who pushed into him, made a homophobic remark and poured his drink over the victim.
