Police appeal following incident at Shrimp roundabout

16/5/11: Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Morecambe. The incident happened on Thursday 12th May at the Shrimp roundabout at around 4.50pm. A disagreement broke out between two drivers and a 23-year-old man was struck and suffered injuries to his lip and nose.

George Austin was ejected from Ma Murphy’s pub in Morecambe on Christmas Day 2009 after assaulting an elderly customer. Once outside, he assaulted a second man and bit off a section of his ear.

Teenager assaulted at Lancaster takeaway

25/3/11: Have you seen or do you know this man?Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted at a takeaway in Lancaster earlier in the year. Around 3.40am on Sunday 27th January 2011, a 19-year-old man from the town was repeatedly punched in the face and body as he was waiting to order food at Iky’s on St Leonards Gate.

Part of man’s ear bitten off in Morecambe assault

18/2/11: Police are appealing for information after a man had part of his ear bitten off in Morecambe in an assault in December. Between 6.40 and 7pm on Monday 13th December 2010, the owner of Central Car Sales on Whitegate, White Lund Industrial Estate was assaulted at the premises. Four men approached the 28-year-old victim on the garage forecourt and began to punch and kick him before making off.

Police appeal for witnesses after Lancaster canalside robbery

18/2/11: Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had his laptop stolen last weekend -- and was then thrown into the canal. The incident happened on Saturday 12th February between 10.00 and 10.25pm. The victim, who is a local man, was approached by two men as he approached the canal tow path from Ridge Street Bridge.

Police appeal after woman assaulted trying to break up a fight

1/2/11: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman was assaulted as she tried to break up a fight on Pitt Street earlier this month. The incident took place around 1.15 am on Saturday 22nd January when the 18-year-old Morecambe woman and her boyfriend were followed out of Ikys takeaway by a white man in his 20s.

17/1/11: Lancaster police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 14-year-old boy was assaulted in in the city centre on Christmas Eve. The incident took place around 3.30am on 24th December when the boy was stood outside Subway on Church Street.

Man assaulted in own home in Torrisholme

14/1/11: Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in his own home in Torrisholme, near Morecambe late last month. Sometime between 9.30pm and 10pm on Wednesday 29th December 2010, a group of six or possibly seven men, one armed with a machete, entered a flat on Lancaster Road. Once inside, the group threatened a man inside the property.

Lancaster cycle path assault appeal

13/12/10: Police are appealing for people to come forward with information after a man was assaulted on a Lancaster cycle path over the weekend (Saturday 11th December). The incident happened around 12pm when the 19 year old Morecambe man was walking along the public cycle track off Morecambe Road close to Asda and the local college.

Man stabbed in Lancaster, arrest made

10/12/10: Detectives have launched an investigation after a 49 year old man was stabbed in Lancaster. Police were called to an address on Patterdale Road on the Ridge at around 5.45pm yesterday (Thursday 9 December 2010). On arrival, they found a man suffering from a stab wound to his chest. He was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Appeal after nightclub assault in Lancaster

6/12/10: Police in Lancaster are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in a nightclub in the city. At approximately 3.00am on the 28th November, the 20 year old man was in Toast nightclub, sat in a booth talking to a woman when he was approached by a man who punched him in the head before walking away. The offender has been described as white, between 18 and 25 years old and of slim build.

9/11/10: Police have charged a man in connection with a serious assault in Morecambe at the weekend. Just before 5.00pm on Saturday afternoon (6th November) police were called to West End Road to reports of a serious assault. On arrival, they found a 43-year-old man with stab wounds.

31/8/10: Local police are appealing for information after a young woman was pulled into a car outside a Lancaster nightclub. The 20-year-old woman, who was wearing a black top and white shorts, left Elements nightclub at around 3.30am on Monday 30th August when a small white car pulled up alongside her.

Man left with fractured cheek bone after Lancaster nightclub attack

23/8/10: Police are appealing for information after a man was left needing hospital treatment following a nightclub attack in Lancaster. The 20-year-old victim was standing with friends outside Lancaster’s Toast nightclub, on North Road, at around 3.35am on Saturday 14th August when he was approached by another man.

Man sexually assaulted on Lancaster Canal

22/7/10: Police are appealing for information after a man was sexually assaulted on the Lancaster Canal. The 21-year-old male was on the canal tow path, between Aldcliffe and Galgate, between 10.00pm - 11.00pm on Tuesday night (20th July) when he was attacked.
