A project led by the Dukes, Lancaster, which aims to improve the lives of people with dementia and memory loss, and their friends and families, by providing fun, creative activities and film screenings in an adapted environment. ALMO also hosts a free dementia information lecture series.

It coincides with The Dukes pioneering three-year programme to improve access to the arts for people with dementia – A Life More Ordinary.

Dukes and Age UK Lancashire 'Journeying Together' project gets new funding

26/9/13: A pioneering project to help people with dementia and their families enjoy films, theatre and the arts in Lancaster has received a funding boost. Journeying Together is a unique collaboration between Age UK Lancashire and The Dukes which was launched last year.

New dementia rehab service for Lancaster and Morecambe

19/11/12: A new dementia care service is now open and is offering support to people in the Lancaster and Morecambe area.The new dementia rehabilitation service is a joint venture led by Lancashire County Council and North Lancashire Primary Care Trust.
