The Centre @ Halton

A vibrant and welcoming community centre in the heart of Halton, offering indoor and outdoor facilities, with a fantastic skate park. We have a huge number of classes and activities, from sports and exercise to community activities and events for all ages. We also have a friendly and popular cafe.

National Trailboat Festival on Lancaster Canal this weekend

Everything's coming up Roses at Williamson Park

Everything will be coming up 'Roses' at Lancaster's Williamson Park this summer when the 2012 Roses Historic Vehicle Run heads to the park. The 12th Historic Vehicle Run will leave Bradford on Sunday 1st July and make its way via Halifax, Todmordon, Burnley, Clitheroe and through the Trough of Bowland before ending its journey at the park.

Lancaster Beekeepers buzz back with Annual Show

The event includes free honey tasting and local honey for sale. Other delights include hand crafted honey, the sale beeswax products and tombola. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are available.

Lancaster Castle gets set to host a Lancashire Witches Weekend

A weekend of events at Lancaster Castle will mark the 401st anniversary of the Lancashire Witch Trials, during which 19 people went on trial for their lives at Lancaster Castle. The events, which take place over the weekend of 16 - 18th August, will commemorate the 10 men and women who were hanged in the summer of 1612.
