Lancaster Guardian cartoonist exhibits in the Park

5/6/14: Yes, we know that headline could be misleading. Got you here though, didn't it? Paintings of local landmarks by Lancaster artist and Lancaster Guardian Jack Knight will be on display throughout June in the Pavilion Café in Williamson Park. The exhibition features a number of original pieces and Giclee prints, including his most popular work, "Summer in the City".

Looking Back on Market Square: A 'Sneak Peek" at Lancaster Library's Exhibition

22/5/14: A post-war image of Market Street leading to Market Square circa 1946. The centre of the square is still accessible to cars. The Square was pedestrianised in the 1970s Lancashire's Museum Service has given us a sneak peek at the fascinating photographs of Lancaster's Market Square, which will be on display in Lancaster Library from Saturday 24th May as part of an ongoing display.

Meet artist Chas Jacobs this weekend at Ashton Memorial

29/11/13: Lancaster artist Chas Jacobs has an exhibition at the Ashton Memorial this weekend (Saturday 30th November - 1st December) and will be on hand to talk about his work and sign the back of any works sold. Original paintings, canvases, limited edition prints and cards will be available.
