Volunteer call for Freehold & Ridge Bonfire Night & Lantern Procession

26/10/17: The Gregson Festival Group has announced that the Freehold & Ridge Community Bonfire and Firework display will be held on Sunday 5 November, preceded by the lovely Lantern Procession. Volunteers are needed for the many different jobs that make this a magical night for children - of all ages.

Witness appeal after Ridge Estate arson attacks

3/11/15: Police are appealing for information after two arson attacks on the Ridge Estate in Lancaster. At around 9.25pm on 23rd October, a lit firework was pushed through the letterbox of a property on the Estate. The firework exploded in the hallway causing some minor damage to the doorway. At around 10.30pm on Sunday (1st November), a firework was set off inside an address on Patterdale Road.

The view from the Club of the fireworks is one of the best in Lancaster, especially now that they are to be launched from the roof of Lancaster Castle.
