31/10/16: Photo: Barrie Marshall A great line-up of bands will come together at More Music this November to celebrate and remember the life of Chas Ambler, a well-known local musician who passed away over a year ago. 'A Night For Chas' will take place at the Hothouse in Morecambe on Saturday 12th November 2016 at 7.00pm and all proceeds from the gig will go to St John’s Hospice in Lancaster.

18/2/14: Residents of Morecambe’s West End are eligible for reduced rate £5 tickets (which includes bus travel from Morecambe to Lancaster University and back) for Frontierland, More Music’s celebratory show at Lancaster University's Nuffield Theatre on 28th February and 1st March. Frontierland is a celebration of 20 years of More Music and features local performers from Morecambe.

The band feature the drummer and bass player from acclaimed trip hop group Portishead, who won the Mercury Music Prize in 1995.

Morecambe Festival Soars To New Heights

7/6/13: One of Morecambe’s most popular summer festivals will be hitting a new high this year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of More Music in the resort. The Catch the Wind Kite Festival, organised by More Music, will be extended to a full weekend from June 29-30 to mark 20 years since the community and education charity was founded.

A collection of candid street photography and pictorial views of Paris taken on an unusually cold and snowy January in the French capital, the images are showing upstairs at More Music in Morecambe until 18th January 2013.
