4 Free new courses for women preparing to set up their own business

The Growing Club has received funding to run 4 pre-start-up business courses for women in Lancaster and Morecambe who are at a social disadvantage and who would like to consider the option of becoming self-employed. The first will start at Cornerstone in Lancaster on September 15.

'Morecambe by Air' - Morecambe BID launches new aerial video

Morecambe Business Improvement District (BID) recently commissioned Colin Aldred, of Aerial Artwork, to overfly Morecambe and shoot aerial video and photography. The results, to say the least, are stunning as it shows Morecambe in a brilliant new light.

Conservative Councillor blames Labour for lack of flood assistance measures

City By-election news: Conservative Cllr Charlie Edwards has called Lancaster's Labour-run City Council's efforts to assist businesses & residents in recent floods 'a complete failure'. The City Council has explained that Edwards' Conservative County Council is actually the lead flood authority.
