Care about sharing your medical records? A Public Meeting, organised by Lancaster University, will be held at Lancaster Town Hall next Monday 28 April at 6.45pm to find out more about government proposals to upload your GP records for wider access.

Organisers believe that it’s important that people should have the opportunity to find out about what is planned for their medical data and to consider their options.

Confirmed speakers (so far) are:

Dr David Wrigley, a local GP;

Mr Phil Booth,  Medconfidential.org;

Dr Garrath Williams, Senior Lecturer, Lancaster University.

The event is free to attend but the organisers would appreciate your registering beforehand at their eventbrite page. Doors open at 6.15pm for a 6.45pm start.
