Are you involved in a creative or food business in the Lancaster and Morecambe area?

Vintage by the Sea is a one-day festival in Morecambe on 14th September 2013 to help celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Midland Hotel. Nationally acclaimed designer Wayne Hemingway, a huge supporter of Morecambe and all it has to offer is bringing his Vintage Festival to Morecambe and is looking for local people, including Lancaster University graduates who live in the area, to provide additional creative or food businesses to take part in the following areas:

The Vintage Marketplace

This consists of stalls which bring together couture labels with street style from the 1920s through to the 1980s. Items will be sold for anything between £5 and £500.

Vintage Serendipity

This element of the festival will include classic vehicles, vintage street theatre, classic ice cream vans, evocative rare film footage and pop-up performances.

Vintage Street Food

The Midland Hotel car park will be transformed into an inspired food extravaganza. Do you run a food business and if so, would you like to add your own vintage flavour to the mix?

Workshops

Can you help to teach a new skill or revive an old one? From sewing vintage style fashion accessories, knitting, up-cycling, quilting and designing to generally getting creative.
