Forest Friends Project - Lancaster District

Forest Friends Project - a new volunteering opportunity to help manage urban woodlands in the Lancaster District, for wildlife and people.  

North Lancashire Wildlife Group

The local group of Lancashire Wildlife Trust. We aim to deliver a programme of activities for members and the general public, raise awareness of wildlife issues and sites, conduct biological recording and survey work, and generally support Wildlife Trust aims and projects - and have fun together!

The Butterfly House

Williamson Park's original Edwardian Palm House now houses an ever-changing display of tropical butterflies. Walk amongst some of the world's most beautiful tropical species, including brilliant Swallowtails and cleverly camouflaged Owl butterflies, within a natural habitat.

Wolfwood Animal Sanctuary
