Woman, 85, assaulted with paving stone in Heysham

Friday, June 19, 2015 - 00:19: Police are investigating the serious assault of an 85-year-old woman in Heysham. Officers were called by the ambulance service at around 11.45am today (Thursday 18 June) to the report of a woman suffering a serious head injury after being assaulted by a man with what is thought to be a paving stone at an address on School Road.

Snooker Club Assault - Appeal for witnesses launched

At between 5.45pm to 6.00pm on Tuesday 12th May, there was an altercation between two men in Squires Pool and Sports Bar on Church Street which resulted in one of them, a 35-year-old local man, being punched, falling to the floor and losing consciousness.
