Monday, March 27, 2017 - 17:56: Two people were arrested today after protesters from Bristol Rising Tide blockaded the entrance to the Aggregate Industries quarry at Leapers Wood in Carnforth. The protesters were suspended on swings which were rigged onto height restriction bars at the quarry entrance.

Tuesday, March 21, 2017 - 10:50: An 11-year-old boy was sadly found dead by firefighters attending a house fire in Coniston Road, Lancaster, on Sunday. The boy, who has now been named as Cem Bora (pictured), also lived in Coniston Road, and was reported to be staying over at a friend's house, which became the scene of the blaze.
