Lancaster Music Makers 30th Anniversary Concert

Venue:
The Chapel, University of Cumbria (Lancaster site) Bowerham Road
Organisers:
Lancaster Music Makers

The Lancaster Music Makers present a concert marking their 30th Anniversary on 16th February at 19.45 in St Martin's Chapel at the University of Cumbria (Lancaster site).

For this special concert, the music makers have come up with a bumper programme including great works from the standard repertoire as well as some interesting and unusual pieces. There will be a complete performance of Haydn's piano sonata in C major, Hob. 16 No. 50, part of Mozart's piano sonata in F major K332, and other piano works by Moszkowski, J.S. Bach, Eric Coates and Franz Lehar.  Vocal contributions include songs by Edward German, Wolf, Finzi and Tom Lehrer (including the famous Periodic Table!). Please join us for some excellent music, good company and a glass of bubbly (if you're so inclined!) and help us to celebrate 30 years of Lancaster Music Makers.

Tickets are £6 on the door (£5 concessions) including prosecco, nibbles and a programme. Wheelchair access is available to the rear of the chapel, and there is plenty of free parking nearby. For more information about our group, or to contribute to future concerts, please see our website, www.lancastermusicmakers.co.uk
