The Taming of the Shrew

Date:
Tuesday, April 24, 2018 - 19:30 to 22:00
Venue:
Lancaster Castle

After the success of 2017's production of 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona' in the Shire Hall, Attic Door Productions are back once again bringing Shakespeare to life in an all new promenade production of William Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew'.

"We will have rings and things and fine array"

Let us transport you to the high society halls of Edwardian England as you follow the trials and tribulations of two sisters as they navigate the pitfalls and protocols of modern matrimony.

As the lords of the manor attempt to tame their women as well as their hearts, the servants below stairs become embroiled in the confounding contrivances their masters and mistresses have put in place to win the hearts of the ones they desire.

Who will end up being the winner in this game of love?

"If I be waspish, best beware my sting."

Performances nightly from Monday 16 April to Saturday 28 April 2018 (excluding Sunday 22 April)

Tickets are £25 available from www.atticdoorproductions.co.uk or by calling 01524 419486
