A guided walk around the pools and grassland areas of this LWT managed site. We will be hoping to see plenty of damselflies and dragonflies amongst other insects and creatures as well as a good variety of flora.

A walk around this nature reserve which supports many varied species of plants, animals and birds. Once a working quarry, it is now a National Nature Reserve.

North Lancashire Wildlife Group are a friendly, local group of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust who meet throughout the year to share our interest in the natural world. Anyone who enjoys nature is welcome to join us — no knowledge or experience necessary!

Children must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear are strongly recommended. Bring a packed lunch. There is no charge but donations to the Wildlife Trust are always welcome. See our website www.nlwg.org.uk for more details.
