Each year the Landscape Trust of Arnside and Silverdale AONB runs a weekend of events focusing on one of the villages in the AONB area and on 21st and 22nd September the Trust will celebrate the local natural history and wildlife of Warton.
Including walks, lectures, exhibitions, tours and hands-on activities; the weekend will cover the geology of the local area, memories of the history of Warton, historic census information, tours of the Old School Brewery and St Oswald’s Church, and a hands-on moth trap demonstration, as well as many more activities.
All activities are free, but numbers for the walks are limited, so places must be booked in advance by emailing: LTevents@arnsidesilverdaleaonb.org.uk or you can call Arnside and Silverdale AONB on 01524 761034
