Morecambe’s North and South beaches have once again been awarded the prestigious Seaside Award by Keep Britain Tidy.
These awards celebrate the cleanest, safest, and best-managed beaches in England – and Morecambe has proven it’s up there with the best.
Caroline Jackson, Leader of Lancaster City Council, praised community efforts, and said: “These awards are a testament to the hard work of our staff, volunteers, and local community in keeping our coastline clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.”
