| Morecambe’s Catch the Wind Kite Festival |
Once again, there will be fantastic seaside fun for all the family at Morecambe’s famous ‘Catch the Wind’ Kite Festival on Sunday 13 May from 12 noon – 4pm. Join hundreds of people of all ages Kite flying on Morecambe beach – a magical experience. Absolute beginners are welcome!
There will be a spectacular display of custom kites and stunts and tethered ariel effects, plus live music all afternoon on the Platform forecourt green. Children (and adults) can enjoy free kite, paper aeroplane and wind chime making workshops in the Platform. On the Prom there will be stalls with easy, fun kites (and advanced). tethers and parts, and the radio roadshow.
