Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Lancaster on New Year’s Eve.
The incident happened at around 9:45pm on Damside Street outside the bus station, when a cyclist was involved in a collision with a white Toyota car. The driver of the car stopped and checked that the cyclist was all right, before continuing with his journey. A blonde-haired woman was also in the car at the time.
Although at the time the cyclist felt fine, he later required medical attention at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for minor injuries. Officers are now appealing for the driver of the Toyota to come forward and contact the police.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Carl Wood at Lancaster Police on 101.
