Six people have been arrested in a series of raids carried out this morning as part of a robbery investigation.
Warrants were executed by support unit officers at properties on the Ryelands and Vale estates, Lancaster, at around 8.30am.
The men, aged 18, 19, 22, 24, 25 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.
It follows an incident in Heysham on 22nd May when mobile phones and a large quantity of cash were stolen during a robbery at an address in Robin Crescent (see news story).
Members of the local neighbourhood police team have been carrying out reassurance work in the community following the raids.
