Police continue search for night club attacker

18/4/12: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a student was hit in the face by a bottle in a Lancaster nightclub. The incident took place on the dance floor at Elements Nightclub around 1.45am on Saturday 28th January when the 18 year old victim was standing with friends within the top floor bar area of the nightclub.

Appeal after jogger is assaulted in Lancaster

18/4/12: Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was attacked in an unprovoked assault as he jogged to a friend’s house in Lancaster last month. The 19 year old victim was jogging along Wingate Saul Road at 9.30pm on Saturday 31st March when he has approached by three teenage boys from the opposite direction.

Appeal after Lancaster schoolgirl is punched on a bus

12/4/12: Lancaster police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a schoolgirl was assaulted on a bus. The incident happened around 4.00pm on Monday 5th March on the number 40 bus between Forton and Galgate when a young girl approached a 16-year-old schoolgirl, dressed in her uniform, and punched her to the back after a brief verbal altercation.

Appeal after Morecambe Club assault

19/3/12: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted at a club in Morecambe at the end of February. The assault took place on the main stairwell in the Carleton Club on Regent Road around 10.30pm on the evening of Saturday 25th February 2012 when the club was holding a boxing event attended by over 800 people.

Lancaster man jailed after attack on neighbour

15/3/12: A Lancaster man who attacked his neighbour - breaking his jaw in two places - has been jailed for 18 months. David Spencer, 46, of Howgill Avenue, Lancaster, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday 13 March after pleading guilty to section 20 wounding. He also pleaded guilty to intimidating a witness. Spencer admitted attacking the man outside his home around 4pm on 21 April 2011.

Police hunt Cycle Path Robbers

3/3/12: Lancaster police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a young woman was robbed and physicaly assaulted as she walked along a cycle path on Thursday. The robbery took place around 9.30pm when three men approached the 20-year-old woman near to Asda and knocked her to the ground where she was punched and kicked to her head and body.

New CCTV released over Christmas Eve assault

21/2/12: Police have issued CCTV images of two men they want to trace after a man was assaulted as he walked home in Lancaster on Christmas Eve. The incident took place around 5.00am on 24th December 2011 when the 21-year-old victim was walking home along St Leonards Gate talking on his mobile phone after a night out with friends.

Central Drive assault: Man sought

3/2/12: Morecambe Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted as he walked home from a night out last month. The offence took place around 2.15am on Sunday 29th January when the 38-yearold victim from St Helens was walking along Central Drive. He was approached by two men very close to the bottom of Billy Hill when he has been assaulted and knocked to the floor.

Female student "groped" in Galgate attack

3/2/12: Lancaster Police are appealing for information after a 20-year-old student was groped whilst she was out walking in Galgate on 29th January 2012. The incident took place around 3.30pm on Chapel Lane when a teenage boy, who was in the company of four other youths, ran after the victim and engaged her in conversation before groping her breast and slapping her bottom.

Man sought after Swank bar assault

18/1/12: Lancaster police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 31 year old man was assaulted in a town centre bar. The offence took place at Swank bar on Penny Street on 4th December 2011 when the victim was verbally abused on the dance floor by an unknown man. A short time later he visited the toilet where he was assaulted from behind and knocked unconscious.

6/12/11: Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Morecambe.    The incident happened at around 8:30pm on Monday 5th December at an address on Waterside Place.    Two men have approached the house and gained entry to the property and have assaulted the 40 year old man in front of his own family, including his two young children.

6/12/11: Police in Morecambe are appealing for information after a man was assaulted at the King's Arms Pub on Marine Road. The incident happened between 2.00 and 2.30am on 19th November. The victim, an 18 year old local man was attacked by another man and punched to the face and kicked. He received cuts and bruises and a fractured cheekbone.

Galgate man gets seven years for violent attack

15/11/11: Jason MoonA man who smashed a pub customer over the back of the head with a bottle has been jailed for seven years. Jason Moon, 29, of Main Road, Galgate, carried out the attack after being asked to leave the New Inn pub, also on Main Road, on 2nd July. Moon had been drinking in the venue with his girlfriend when she became abusive to other customers and the couple were asked to leave.

Morecambe teenager in prison after assaultng police officer

9/11/11: A Morecambe man has been jailed for four years and 10 months for a vicious attack on a police officer earlier this year. 19-year-old Jamie Joss, of Needham Avenue, Morecambe, appeared before Preston Crown Court this week after he attacked a police officer following a street brawl in the town.

2/11/11: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a Morecambe man was attacked outside the Spar shop on Scale Hall Lane on 30th October. The offence occurred around 12.10am on Sunday when an 18 year-old-man was knocked unconscious after being struck across the face with a baseball bat as he walked across the shop car park.
